Frontline Worker Acute Care Program

Medical Masks in Container

Online, Confidential, Created With You In Mind

COVID-19 has had an undeniably unprecedented and devastating effect on New York essential workers and frontline healthcare workers. Being a frontline worker during this epidemic comes with a mix of strength and vulnerability that’s not easy to explain. If this is you, then you understand the pressures of patients counting on you to make it through illness. You are experiencing how colleagues are counting on you to keep yourself focused during work hours. Although your family may want to be there for you, perhaps don’t know how to best support you. During the Pandemic, Cohesive Therapy NYC is spearheading the Frontline Worker Acute Care Program. This program is a time-limited, deeply-discounted, and targeted 4-session program designed to help the New York essential and frontline worker better cope altogether.

The truth is this. None of us were prepared to cope with these new kinds of pressures, critical anxieties, and grief caused by COVID-19. At Cohesive Therapy NYC, therapy for essential workers and frontline healthcare professionals is specifically and thoughtfully structured. In the Frontline Worker Acute Care Program, we will concurrently address areas of concern and how perspectives influence thoughts. We will also provide help with coping skills development and improvement, and offer self-care suggestions.

COVID-19 has had an undoubtedly tremendous effect on our workers.

Most importantly, we want to help you heal so you can be in a stronger position as the pandemic continues. Therapy for essential workers will remain confidential to the best of our ability.

More Information

The Four-Session Program

This four-session program is designed to allow you to confidentially discuss any COVID-19 related issues you may be struggling with. It allows you to learn basic, practical coping skills to better manage anxiety, loss/grief, negative/fear-based thoughts. Additionally, we can help in establishing a plan for future self-care.

First Session: Dealing with loss, grief, and impact of Covid-19.

Second Session:  Anxiety management: When I feel it in my body and it affects my mind.

Third Session: Changing perspectives: Addressing the thoughts that are keeping you from coping and managing better during the pandemic.

Fourth Session:  Establishing self-care for the future:  So that we can help with creating a realistic and concrete self-care plan.
